Philip Klucsarits is a director of photography with a passion for collaboration and visual storytelling. His award-winning work has screened at over two hundred film festivals worldwide, including Telluride, SXSW and Camerimage.
Philip has worked internationally on narrative, documentary and commercial projects, including the feature film, Stealing Summers, which was shot on location in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is also a visiting lecturer at UCLA, and an instructor at UCLA Extension, where he teaches both composition and lighting in the cinematography certificate program.
He earned his MFA in Cinematography from UCLA and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech. In 2009, Philip attended the Budapest Cinematography Masterclass, where he studied under the instruction of renowned cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond, ASC.
Philip currently resides in Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.
